Provide ShopSteps Woodworking Plans for a wide range of totally original unique classic woodworking projects with more functional features and refinements that are fun to build, display and use and that will be treasured for generations.

ENDdesigns ShopSteps Plans

Our ShopSteps approach makes it easy for you to build seemingly complex projects in about 2-3 weeks of spare time by taking you through each step of the construction process usually on a page dedicated just to that step.  We collect information, often for years, on selected woodworking projects, build prototypes and refine our own unique designs before building the final project.   Even if you modify our plan significantly you will benefit from our years of effort.

ENDesigns was founded by Chuck Hampton.  He built his first 5 hp wooden boat at age 10.  Growing up Chuck learned woodworking basics from his Grandfather and Uncle, who were  both accomplished Danish cabinet makers, woodworkers and carpenters.  His interest in wooden boats and woodworking design extended into 8 years of building and driving wooden racing hydroplanes, which achieved national prominence.  As a serious furniture designer, builder and wood turner he began publishing woodworking plans in 1989, which were then sold by most of the major woodworking catalogs  and displayed at the Woodworking Shows.   Direct marketing through this site enables ENDdesigns to offer   a more extensive and growing library of woodworking plans and more detailed descriptions of each project.

Chuck has a Masters Degree from Northwestern University.  He was in marketing and international management positions at Abbott Laboratories for 15 years and a Senior Vice President of G. D. Searle for 12 years.  He founded the prepackaged prescription industry and Allscripts Pharmaceuticals, Inc., the prepackaged prescription industry leader, which was taken public by Bear Stearns and Goldman Sachs in 1999.  Chuck was chosen as Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist by Inc Magazine and Arthur Young.
